My wife (Donna) and I had a great time. I'm headed to memorial services at our veterans park shortly and will proudly wear Triple Deuce shirt and hat. My ORA will also be around my neck. Comments: I share Dick Nash's sentiment and hope everyone has a safe and Happy Memorial Day weekend. Please take time to remember our fallen brothers. In Oregon, on Saturday some of our Portland 25ID group will help Larry Mason C-2-22 celebrate his 40th Wedding Aniv. Then on Monday, our group gathers at the beautiful Oregon Vietnam Memorial to honor the 800 plus Oregon KIAS, including George Holladay of Coos Bay(KIA 7-15-67) I have the privilege of reading some 22 names that includes George Holladay. After the names are read, we march-walk with our flags and present a wreath in their honor. After the conclusion of the memorial service, we gather for a lunch. Paige Lanier, our 1st Arty officer-FO(with A-2-22) and his family happens to be in the Portland area and will join us. PS CJ Simpson while you are marching in the Quad next year in Seattle, I and the other guys will sit in lawn chairs, beer in hand, watching and trying not to laugh out loud. HA HA

The divorce had been done under the veil of secrecy, according to Russian media, in February. The marrige will take place in St Petersburg on June 15, at the palace Konstantinovo. Alina Kabaeva is 25 years old, Russian gymnast who has had major success on the international stage including Olympic gold in Athens. She is considered one of the most beautiful Russian woman, and in 2007 entered the Russian Parliament as a member of the "United Russia" party. According to sources, Putin and Kabaeva are more 'than friends' since 2000. Putin (56) has two daughters with Ljudmila, 23 years old Marja and 21 years old Katerina. True or not, everything will be confirmed very soon, though is likely that Putin will follow in Sarkozy's footsteps.

There were supposed to be two entries in each mag-one with Skip Fahels name adress and phone for the 22nd IRS and mine for the VN222. You all helped me to do my part then, and are helping me to deal with those memories today. Wear your Presidential Unit Citations with pride, and forgive those that placed us there, as well as our former enemy who suffered greatly at our hands. Forgive, but never forget, as if you could forget. It was pay-back time that day. Leave it at that.

I get the generic alprazolam online of xanax which is Alprazolam 0.5 mg. Tonight when I went to get my refill they were out of the generic form that my insurance covers, but so that I wouldn't run out, the pharmacist gave me a couple of white pills with "breaks"? in them? Until the others come in. I guess these are the real xanax.

Comments: I had a great visit with Larry Nuckolls. Both of us were in B Company, he in late 1969, me for most of 1969. Our tours overlapped. We are mortarmen. WE visited for a few days and had a great time. We talked with another Veteran friend we both had in common, Steve Sinn, over the phone. We attended a Veterans Day ceremony where we were honored as Veterans, together, and it was an honor to be with someone who was there with me. I am leaving today from my home town in Northern Wisconsin to travel to Clarks Hill, South Carolina. In Clarks Hill, I will attend another Veterans ceremony on Saturday, November 17, 2007, at the Bethany Baptist Church. This is the home community for Frazier Dixon, KIA December 3, 1969. This is where he lived before war, this is where he is buried. Someone contacted me after all these years, it's a long story, but I will go return his Spirit to his Friends, Family and Community. You see, Steve Sinn and I were with Dixon when he passed. I'll say hello to his family from all of us.

Comments: After all these years I finally went back to research our old unit and what we did. It brought back some wonderful and not so wonderful memories. The battle of Suoi Tre at Firebase Gold and finding a soldier drafted with some of us so greatful we came to the aid of the fire base. I had to click on the memorial page after contemplating for some time. Though some of the names escape me at times their faces never. They will always be in my thoughts. Once again this year a group of veterans gather at a Sportsman lodge in the hills of Central Pennsylvania for Veterans Day, men from different branches of the military to pay respect to those who served ewspecially those who are no longer with us. The service at 11am on Nov 11 is wonderful and very moving. Thank you for providing the information Dennis Di Bon Co. B 2 22 3rd Brigade 3rd plt

The Trust is campaigning to prevent the Superintendent of Memorials from destroying the marble headstone and replacing it with another stone. The current stone is cracked and can be repaired the same as other marble memorials have been in the past. This is the only memorial to the WWI veterans. This headstone shouldbe repaired. Destroying would be a desecration.

Comments: It was an honor and a real pleasure to join the men from Charlie Company at the reunion in Centralia, Washington. Since returning to Virginia I have had a difficult time describing to family and friends the depth of my feelings and what it meant to me. I don't seem to have the words to fully express myself. I have always considered the two year period during which we served together in Charlie Company a most significant part of my life. This reunion will always be one of the most cherished moments of my life. I sincerely look forward to future opportunities to meet again with the Centralia crew and with other men of Charlie Company and Recon with whom I served. I hope we will have time together so that I can lear about your experiences, lives and families over the last 40 years. Charlie Company was extraordinary only because of the men in the Company, you, were exceptional. I urge you to continue your fellowship and bring in other Chargin Chuck veterans. Many at the reunion discribed each other as brothers. Because of your shared experiences you are truly brothers and family. Rank being what it was back then, our experiences were often different. So, though I may not deserve the status of brother, for that time in our lives I was and remain extremely proud to have been what Army slang refers to as your OLD MAN. Roger-Lt. Fry

Comments: C-2-22 Boat People Reunion is in Centrailia, Wa July 28th. For those brothers that were at Soui Tre 40 years ago, March 21,1967, you were awarded the Presidential Unit Citation for that Battle. It does not show on your DD214 because it was not signed by the President until Sept 23, 1968. We were all home by then. You can apply for a "Correction to DD214, to show you were awarded the Pres. Unit Citation. Most everyone I talked to are unaware that they have this Award. The Pres Unit Citation is a Unit Citation and is equal to the Distingust Service Cross, which is the second highest Award Amercia gives, only thing higher is the Congressional Medal of Honor. This is something that you earned and belongs to you. The Government will send you your medal and update your DD214. You will need to fill out form SF180. You can get this thru the VA or online. Fill out the paper, letting them know you never recieved this award, takes about 3 min. to fill out. Make a copy of the Pres Unit Citation from the Triple Deuce Home page and mail to the address shown. If you are coming to the Reunion, I will have copies of the form and the Citation and can help you fill this out if needed. Any questions, e-mail me...PS If you want to get this online, e-mail me for the address, commit box does't allow the address.

I spent much time with the 222 on sweeps eagle flights and patrols throughout my year there. I was attached to HQ 277 Arty and most of us spent a lot of time out in the field and surrounding bases with 222, lost a few too. It was eerie to read an account of that night and actually find a photo of that burned track and wrecked bunker on the internet, never thought I would ever see it like that. One of my associates here at work was 222 and in Dau Tieng the year before me, we have since shared many photos and memories.

It would be great if you were ever a medic with the 222 you could comtact me via e-mail,and contact medics you know and have them contact me. I can remember quite a few names of those I severd with such as: Borchert,Mtrey,Bollinger,McGuire,Conners etc. Also many who did not make it out of Vietnam, Barnardy,Mull, Provincher,Whittevorngel,Kennan etc. If you were a medic or know a medic have them contact me via e-mail. Comments: I remember "Pappy." He was called that because at "the grand old age" of 25, he was so much older than the rest of us. He also seemed a lot wiser than nineteen year olds. He was one of the original "boatpeople." He was from West Texas, and was an authentic cowboy by occupation. Unfortunately, us medics tended to lose track of each other once we were assigned to line units. (I was attached to Alpha company) I didn't even recall that Pappy had been wounded, though I'm sure I knew it at the time. Mad Doc

Comments: I am putting together a CD Slide-video show Tribute to the men that were in Charlie Company 2-22 in 1966-1967. What I need is a picture of you in VN and a Picture of you now. These are the "Walker Boat People" and anyone else that served in 66-67. I am putting this to music and have quite a few Walter Cronkite news clips of our company in VN. I need your help in putting this together, if you have names and address's or pictures you can either email them or sent them to Jim Neeley, 419 S. Clark, Aberdeen, Wa. 98520. Any picture that has groups of people or one that you think would be interesting, and would like it in this Tribute, sent them. This has been a large undertaking , been difficult getting address's of everyone. When completed, everyone that I have an address for, I will mail them a copy of this CD. So if you were in Charlie Company in 66-67, please help by sending pictures and known addresses of others that were there. If you have pictures of our fallen brothers, I need them too. There will be a section to Tribute them also. Lynn Dalpez, I need your addresses you have also. So, "Thanks" in advance, this, when completed, will be a valuable asset to any VN vets. My address is 419 S. Clark, Aberdeen, Wa. 98520

What i do remember is he was a fun loving guy. I was hoping that maybe i could talk to someone who knew him there. What was he like over there? What were the circumstances surrounding his death? Maybe someone has a picture i could copy. Basically looking to close the loop on lots of questions that have run through my mind over the years. I am currently on active duty in the Navy. I live in Federal Way, Wa which is just North of FT Lewis. Served our country for 22 years now. Comments: Served Aug 67 to Dec 67 with C Company 2-22 as Charlie 26 when wounded and became unfit for field duty. Had two reasons for popping in, to day hello and to ask if anyone remembers an incident. Second platoon was moving through light jungle alone in Nov or early Dec I think, when a branch whipped up over the 50 shield and whacked me on the head. Lost helmet, got knocked off track, etc. Shortly after, a fire pissant nest fell in the lead track. If anyone remembers this incident, please email me. Thanks.

It seems that their data base goes back to 1969 and they need to know the hospital one was treated at to be able to look up older records. I know that I was in the 45th Surgical Unit in Tay Ninh but spent a short time being treated somewhere else. Does anyone remember if there was a clinic or hospital at Dau Tieng? Thanks.

Comments: I was transferred into the triple deuce, 4th Inf.Div.Mech. in Dau-Tieng around Aug. 1967, from the 1stBn. 5th Inf.25th Inf. Div. Bobcats, where I spent time after arriving in country the first of April 1967. I was only in the 4th Div. a couple of weeks before the 25th Inf. Div. had taken over the Div. and the area, so I spent the rest of my tour in Co.A 2nd Bn. 22nd Inf. 25th Inf. Div. till the last of April 1968. Somewhere around the last of March, my track hit a landmine. I lost my hearing for over two weeks and part of memory. I cannot remember any names except one, John (Tex) Bergeron from Houston, Tx. I had the pleasure of spending a weekend with him while I was stationed in Ft. Hood Tx. Since I left the army, I have not had any contact with him, nor have I met anyone that was in my units in the last 39 yrs. So I would just like to say HELLO to all my brothers in all my units and WELCOME HOME. This is first time signing in on this guest list and the second time on any guest list.

Comments: A correction on my comment, my dad was with the 116 ( Hornets) but got his CIB and 2 purple hearts when he went on partrol with the Triple Deuce. He was at a place that sounds like KOO SHE. He was not a Wolfhound but says they were at his base camp.

Comments: welcome home brothers. Looking for anyone that may have served with Frank Kearney from March 68 to April 69. He was my younger brother and he passed away in January of this year from Pancreatic Cancer. He was 61. He was wounded in action on April 27, 1968 - the same day that I was married. He rose to the rank of sergeant.
