22nd IRS reunion in Kansas City
The first thing that anyone would
have experienced is the outstanding planning for the reunion and the
amount of work that went into making it a success. Thank you Ival, Renee
and all the other infantry blue clad friends.
Here is a representative photo of
the reunion. To put it in context, remember all the arguments between
these two friends during the past presidential election? And speaking of
election, congratulations to the newly elected or re-elected directors:
Nash, Dalpez, Matz, May and Streit.

From left, Mario Salazar and Jim May in
front of the guide-on in Kansas City. Jim appears taller because he
is wearing cow boy boots with 2 inch heels. |

The Colonel, Karen and David Milewski outside the hotel
entrance. |

The beautiful city of Kansas City on the Missouri
River. The French couldn't pass up this beautiful scene. |
 |
In 1857 the steamship Arabia sank in the Missouri River with
enough merchandise to fill a small sized Walmart. In the 1960s it
was dug up (yes, the river had changed course and the ship was now farm
land). The merchandise found could have depressed the antiques value
in the world, so instead of selling it, the finders established a great
museum. If you visit KC, you can't miss the museum. |

Our treasurer and his beautiful wife Gail at the banquet. |
 |
Anatol Ivanovich (Tony) Kononenko came to the reunion and we
enjoyed his subtle humor, good looks and excellent personality. |
 |
And some of us are always relaxed... |
